4.选D 此题考查强调句型It is ...that ...。本句中强调了状语only when you nearly lose someone。 5. appear“出现”;suit“适合”;fit“合适”;appeal“吸引”。 6.
、be about to do ...when ... bring up“抚养”;take up“从事”;break up“打碎;分裂;解体”。 9.
A项应说成a variety of; B项意为“准确的;精确的”; C项意为“原始的”; D项意为“不同的;多种多样的”。 根据the old man 与wait之间的关系,应该选择v.ing形式,再根据句意得知他是先“wait”后才“realize”。
根据第四段中的“A gallon of gas may drive your car 25 miles. But the electricity you get from that gallon of gas wont get you nearly as far”可知答案为D项。 4.
根据第三段的第一句及画线词后面的“were split into three groups”可推知,“split”与“divided”同
C29C91AFE4CED1B6C8795AD9C91AFE4CED1B6C8795AD91AFE4CED1B6C8795AD9C91FE4CED1B6C8795AD29C91AFEDD1B6C87D1B6C8795AD9C91AFE4CED1B6C8795AD91AFE4CED1B6C8795AD9C91F
