Then ask them to the repeat the verbs, paying attention to the different endings . / t / danced helped talked shopped laughed / d / played lived answered carried studied / id / acted needed visited shouted painted 3 Ask students to listen to the words and write down the sounds they hear. 4 Ask students to pare their answers in pairs .Remind them of the / id / rule. Check the correct sounds around the class. 5 Introduce the context of the conversation in Part C .Plat the recording .Tell students to pay attention to the different sounds of the ‘/ ed /’ endings. 6 Ask students to read the conversation in groups of three .When students bee more confident ,ask them to role-piay the conversation in groups of three.
