Module 2 What can you do ◆ 教材分析 Unit 2 Unit 2 I can run really fast 本课时是外研版七年级下册Module 2 What do you do ? Unit 2 I can run really fast.第二单元的话题“竞选班委”是中国学生非常熟悉的一个话题。课文形式是学生的班委竞选词,每个人写出自己要参选的职务和自己的优势,号召大家选自己。通过对第一单元的学习,学生们对彼此的能力和爱好有了深入的了解,现在学习了竞选班委的课文之后,学生们可以根据实际情况,运用目标语言仿写出相似的文段。教师可以采用灵活多样的教学形式,努力使这节课具有交际性、实用性、趣味性和科学性。 ◆ 教学目标 【学习目标】 1. 学习理解并掌握本单元的单词、短语:monitor, start, ready, promise, fast, fit, just, ball, game, team, best, score, tidy, sure, everybody, beautiful, get on well with, be ready to do sth, just like 2.学习和掌握情态动词can的用法,并能准确地加以运用。 【技能目标】 能在阅读短文后,把握文章大意和答题要点,并有效地完成相关练习。 【情感态度与价值观】 在写作方面,能够运用所学的词汇及语法知识来书面介绍某人的能力。 ◆ 教学重难点 重点: 1. 理解并掌握本单元单词和短语的含义及用法:monitor, start, ready, promise, fast, fit, just, ball, game, team, best, score, tidy, sure, everybody, beautiful, get on well with, be ready to do sth, just like 2. 灵活掌握并运用下列句子: 1)I get on well with everyone. 2) Choose me as your class monitor and I promise to help you. 3) I often help my mother do cleaning at home. 3. 理解和掌握语法:—情态动词can的含义及用法。 难点: 1. 准确、熟练地运用本单元所学的词汇等进行听说读写的训练。 2. 准确地运用情态动词can 进行组句练习。 ◆ 课前准备 ◆ PPT课件、录音机、课堂练习、奖品。 ◆ 教学过程 Step 1 Warm up 1. Show some pictures to review the words of Personal background. 2. Review the text of Unit 1. 3. Read the words after the teacher. 4. Introduce the new words. 5.Play the guessing game. Step 2 Work in pairs 1. Show some pictures to tell the students what the class monitor, PE monitor and the cleaning monitor should do. 2. Work in pairs. Ask and answer the questions. 1) Which monitor would you like to be for your class? Class monitor PE monitor Cleaning monitor 2) What do these monitors do? Step 3 Reading. 1. Play the recording. 2. Ask the students to read through the passage. 3. Read the passage and check (√) the true sentences. 1) Lingling doesn’t get on well with others. 2) Lingling is kind to everyone. 3) Daming is good at sport so he wants to be the PE monitor. 4) Daming plays football for the school. 5) Tony doesn’t like cleaning. 6) Tony’s home is tidy. 4. Ask the students to read through the passage in Activity 3. How to choose your monitors A good class monitor gets on well with (1) classmates / everybody and (2) promises likes to help you. I get on well with everyone, classmates and teachers. get on well with sb. 表示“与……相处的很好” get on badly with sb.”是这个词组的反义词,表示“与……相处的不好”。 对于“与……相处的怎么样”的询问,用特殊疑问词how. e.g.: —How do you get on with your neighborhoods? —Just so so. 2. I work hard, and I do well at school. I’m really good at football. a. be good at sth. / doing sth. 擅长于...... b. do well in sth. /doing sth. 在 ...…做得好, 在……表现好, 在……成绩好 3. I often help my mother do cleaning at home. help 用法: help sb. (to)do sth. 帮某人做某事 help sb. with sth.帮某人做某事 help oneself (to) 请自便…… with the help of sb 在某人的帮助下 =with one’s help e.g.: Can you help me (to) learn English/ with English? Help yourself to the fish. With the help of her, he found his keys. 4. We can make our classroom beautiful. 我们会使教室非常漂亮。 此句子中的make是“使、使得”意思,常用的句型是:make + sb. / sth. + adj. 意为“使某人或某物处于某种状态”。例如: The news made him happy. 这个消息使他很高兴。 make sb. do sth. 使某人干某事 Mum, don’t make me stay at home all day. 妈妈不要让我整天呆在家里。 5.
