Teaching aids radio tapes cards pictures Teaching method teaching pratice playing games Teaching steps Step 1 Warm up On the board ,write the following countries. Do a lot of examples. Step 2 Review Write the following on the board:You have not been to ….Explain to the students that they have to use this sentence to talk about the places you have visited. Step3Presatation 1.Tell the students to close their books. 2.Explain that they are going to listen to the dialogue and tell you at the end of each sentences. Now play the tape and let the students listen. Now get the students to open their books. Step 4 Practice Put the students in groups of three.Assign the roles of Ms Smart,Lingling and Amy to individed students in each group. Tell the students to use some pieces of paper and pretend they are photoes of Lingling’sgrandparents. Step 5 Actings 1.Have each group read the dialogue 2.Now choose one group and have them perform in front of the class. Step 6 Review Go over the text. Homework 1. Listen to the tape of this unit. 2. Ask the students to close their books Play the dialogue part by part and have to listen. If they have a question, they have to hold up their pieces of paper and say questions . Now tell the students to open their books and underline all the questions in the dialogue Have the students answer the questions Do Activity book Exercise 1 Step 4: Show the pictures and have the student try to say and write. Use the drills. At last give them answers Who has got some photos? Where is Lingling? When did Lingling go there? Who did she go with? Where does her uncle live?
